One of my coworkers was passing through Zurich and stopped in at a battery and tire store. The clerk recognized the Open Text logo on the shirt and asked if they knew me. Apparently he was a reader of my blog. Unfortunately my coworker didn’t get the name.
So I’m curious to know, if you’re out there and still reading the blog speak up so that I can put a name to this odd connection.
Can’t claim to be the one, but on a related topic I was out in Calgary earlier this year interviewing candidates at a targeted IBM job fair. I came across one guy who mentioned that he had some connection to ‘open text’. I asked him if he knew you - as you are the only guy I ‘know’ (of) in connection with opentext - and he said Yes (but not well). Sounds like you are pretty famous in the document management field. Do you have to wear sunglasses when you go out about town?
